Academic Shoot Reflection and Critique

1. One challenge I encountered while trying to get photos that followed the rules was trying to get a picture where people weren't looking, because many people asked questions or looked at the camera. Another challenge I encountered was trying to get people not moving or distracting others, because some people weren't working and messing around.

2. One technical aspect I found myself thinking of the most was Simplicity. One thing I tried to do to follow this rule was to get backgrounds that weren't bold or messy. If I could do this, the picture would have a better subject and focus.

3. If I could do this assignment again, the things I would do differently would be the angle of the photos. Some of my photos cut off something important and they looked bad. I would also make sure that each picture would have a subject that is clear and not hard to find.

4. The things I would do the same would be the lighting of the pictures and the focus of the pictures. The lighting was pretty decent, because the pictures weren't too dark or too bright. I liked my focus on some of my pictures, because it was obvious what the focus was and it caught my eye.

5. When I go out with my next prompts, the easiest rule I can achieve would be Rule of Thirds, because I can easily angle it to where my subject aligns with the lines.

6. I think the one that will be hardest to capture would be Simplicity, because its hard to find a background that isn't too "loud" or distracting.

7. One rule I am not totally clear on is Avoiding Mergers, because its a little confusing on what it is asking you to avoid. One thing I can do figure out that rule is to search up the definition and go into depth about what it is asking you to do.
