Academic Shoot Post Reflection

1. In this photo, the composition rule I used was Rule Of Thirds.  You can see that the girl is on the far right and is raising her hand, aligning the subject with the invisible lines.
2. The subject of this photo is the girl that is rising her arm, because you can see she is the person who is bigger from my angle. You can also see that she is in between 2 guys on the left and one on the right, making her the focus of the picture.
3. I think it is clear what my subject is, because you can se that her rasing her arm giver her more attention then the other students in the picture.
1. In this photo, the composition rule I used was Balance. You can see that the subjects and the 2 students in the back form a triangle, which gives the picture balance.
2. The subject of the picture is the main kid in the very front, because he is the person the camera is more angled toward to. He draws more attention then anything else in the picture, because he is closer and bigger to the camera.
3. I think it is very clear what my subject is, because you can see he draws more attention just because of the position/angle I was in.
1. In this photo, the composition rule I used was Lines. You can see examples of line all overt his picture. For example the 2 kids form a line and the blinds in the back of the room also represent lines. You can also consider the lines on the table to represent the concept of lines.
2. The subject of my picture is the girl, because you can see she is concentrated on her work. I don't really know what the guy is doing, so I don't think he would be the subject.
3. I don't think it is clear what my subject is, because either person can be the main subject, but none of them really stand out.
4. I think what I could've done differently to make the subject clear was move up closer to the girl, so I would've only had one person. The girl would be a better subject, since she is working and looks concentrated.

  2. The first one is good. I like the perspective. The other two are slightly out of focus and that is one of the key components I am looking for. Next time pick images that are in focus, even if they aren't the best in terms of composition. Out of focus photos are the worst. Keep trying!!
