My opinion story

Story: School shootings are taking over the United States Occurring about once a week, in America there has been 300 school shootings since 2013. All these incidents have led to one or more deaths. School shootings have affected hundreds of thousands of people, all over the country. Many parents think that their kids are very safe at school. Lately, the news has been proving otherwise.   In my opinion, parents shouldn't have to worry even the slightest about having to lose a child due to a shooting. It is unacceptable that there are kids who go through such a traumatic experience at such a young age. There are various of times where I ask myself, "Who has the heart to hurt and kill other humans that just want to live a good life?" Portraits and Self-Portraits Intro

One tip, when taking portraits and self portraits is to play with the settings. If you do this, you may be surprised on the quality of pictures you get. Change the settings when you can, because you want to create diverse pictures. Another tip is to get closer when the picture isn't good enough. Try different angles, not just one angle, because that is just boring. If you try different angles you will most likely get better pictures. The last tip is to get your subject out of their comfort zone. If you do this, they will get more comfortable and be unique with their poses. I think that if you do these 3 tips, you photos will be great. I really liked the background and the angle the photographer took the picture in. I chose this picture, because I think that the environment the man is in gives the viewer background information on what he does. Academic Shoot Post Reflection

1. In this photo, the composition rule I used was Rule Of Thirds.  You can see that the girl is on the far right and is raising her hand, aligning the subject with the invisible lines. 2. The subject of this photo is the girl that is rising her arm, because you can see she is the person who is bigger from my angle. You can also see that she is in between 2 guys on the left and one on the right, making her the focus of the picture. 3. I think it is clear what my subject is, because you can se that her rasing her arm giver her more attention then the other students in the picture. 1. In this photo, the composition rule I used was Balance. You can see that the subjects and the 2 students in the back form a triangle, which gives the picture balance. 2. The subject of the picture is the main kid in the very front, because he is the person the camera is more angled toward to. He draws more attention then anything else in the picture, because he is closer and bigger to the camera...
