Story: School shootings are taking over the United States Occurring about once a week, in America there has been 300 school shootings since 2013. All these incidents have led to one or more deaths. School shootings have affected hundreds of thousands of people, all over the country. Many parents think that their kids are very safe at school. Lately, the news has been proving otherwise.   In my opinion, parents shouldn't have to worry even the slightest about having to lose a child due to a shooting. It is unacceptable that there are kids who go through such a traumatic experience at such a young age. HDR Photography

1. The manipulations you will need to make to the camera to create a HDR image is change the shutter speed and aperture every time. Between every time you shoot a picture, you have to manually adjust the settings. 2. The equipment you use to shoot these images is a camera and a tripod. 3. The reason why someone might take an HDR image is to get perfect exposure on their photos. 4. With one photo, we probably wouldn't see perfect exposure. It could be too bright or dark. With an HDR Image you can see a very balance exposure. After we merge all the pictures together, we can see all the varieties of exposure come together and form a perfect photo.

Photo Manipulation and Ethics

A. One main point I read about in this article regarding photo manipulation was about the program Adobe Photoshop and how you can completely change the original picture. Another main point I read about in this article was how in the past it took someone several hours, but now in the present, it is a matter of seconds. B. The philosophy of newspapers like New York Times regarding photo manipulation is that journalism cannot be about original works of art unless it is labeled as such. They also say that sometimes their tools fail them, but they rely on what they saw and heard to edit the picture. C. I think one acceptable thing you can do to a picture and not cross the line into an unethical manipulation is adjusting the brightness either brighter or darker.
